People in these villages lack basic facilities like bathrooms. Hygiene and sanitation areas lack development and most women lack basic knowledge about the use of the right products during their menstrual cycle which gives rise to many water borne and hygiene related health hazards and diseases.

Under Pankh, we build community toilets in these villages. We hold workshops related to sanitation issues exclusively for women, educate them about the products to be used and provide re-usable sanitary pads, explaining to them how the menstrual cycle works and the intricacies involved in the process.
